Approved Microsoft Navision Add-Ons

Add-Ons - specific customisations that are approved by Microsoft Business Solutions, and have a track record of successful implementation. Why invent customisation, at your own cost, that already exists.

The objectives of this development are: to enhance the control of the flow of materials, to and from subcontractors, improve the documentation, manage alternative subcontractors, enable cost calculation and improve visibility of outputs and pending quantities. A new menu item has been created in the Purchases menu to manage subcontracting orders. In addition, there is new functionality, not available in Standard Navision for creating and documenting shipments to subcontractors. The subcontractor actually receipts the material for control.

Maintenance Manager
A Fully integrated Navision Add-On application that manages Maintenance Tasks, Planned, Preventative, Ad-Hoc and Corrective (Emergency) Jobs. Tasks include equipment, labour and material requirements. Machine absence time is automatically created, integrating automatically with planning.

Planned maintenance routine creates repeat tasks based on time or machine cycles (derived from Navision production bookings). Material requirements are reviewed using MRP and purchased placed through a planning worksheet.

Tasks are allocated and planned by operator / section. Work done and materials used are recorded against each individual plant enabling cost of upkeep to be reviewed by plant and equipment level.

Product Structure – Graphic Explosion
A visible utility that quickly and graphically shows Bills of Materials (BOMs). An enhancement to the core data structure present in Navision, but presented in a more manageable way.

Quality
A utility designed for Vendor / Production Auditing of items to AQL. Sampling levels, Vendor Rating and Incident Recording feature highly in this utility

Trace
A visible utility that easily and quickly shows the source, Purchase Order, Works Order, Lot number etc. of components used in a product. Although the core data is held in Standard Navision, tracking is difficult generally only done under duress in an emergency when there is an issue with traceability. This add-on gives the comfort that should a need arise an auditable and simple method exists – A security blanket ideally suited to food or pharmaceutical sectors.
